View Press Release (August 26th, 2002)
Jennifer Lindbert is the Founder and Designer of JuJu Jewels, an eclectic line of hand-made jewelry and artwork, based out of Ann Arbor, MI. ERROR MSGJennifer's passions for fashion, art, and design were cultivated from an early age, in addition to a keen fascination with the supernatural, healing and medicinal properties of certain precious organic materials. Jennifer's dream to one day design a line of 'magically inspired' jewelry, was postponed as she attended the University of Michigan to obtain a degree in business. This would serve her well in one day transforming that dream to a reality. Following college, Jennifer worked her way up to a high-level executive position at a growing start-up software company, where she gained the experience she needed to take that first step. Despite her early successes there, Jennifer felt strongly that something was missing. During the summer of 2002, at the end of a stressful day of work, Jennifer's vision for JuJu Jewels began to take shape. That very week she decided to start her own company and design a line of jewelry unlike any other. Thus, www.JuJujewels.com was born. The JuJu line features a collection of flirty feminine necklaces, hand-crafted by Jennifer herself. By incorporating a wide variety of exquisite rough-cut, semi-precious stones, shells, and precious metals, each artful design emphasizes the spirituality, sophistication, and individuality of the wearer. Jennifer has scoured the earth to find the materials for this truly unique line of jewelry. She believes strongly that designs are intrinsically connected to the physical and spiritual world from which they came - from as far as Thailand, The Philippines, and South America. JuJu Jewels and art are available online and through select fine jewelry retailers and galleries. Please visit www.jujujewels.com for more information.
