Spencer</div><div>Playoff Interview November 13, 2000</div><bR><div>WGBraves.com:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >Your team has earned a right to play in the NCAA Division II Playoffs.  Your team has been matched up against Catawba.  Most WG fans have not been exposed to Catawba.  Tell us a little bit about this team and what to watch for in them.</FONT></div><div>Coach Glenn Spencer:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >Catawba is of course the #1 ranked team out of the southeast which tells everyone a lot about the caliber of their talent.  They finished the season with a perfect 10-0 record with wins over Carson-Newman and our common opponent Presbyterian.  They have the #1 ranked scoring defense in the country.  I would say we need to play our best game of the year.</FONT></div><bR><div>WGBraves.com:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >What is the mind set of your team since the loss to VSU?</FONT></div><div>Coach Glenn Spencer:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >We are extremely disappointed.  We need to get that game out of our minds as soon as possible and don't let them beat us twice (this weekend) if possible.</FONT></div><bR><div>WGBraves.com:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><a href="http://www.sellpromo.info/sitewide/error.php?errorID=11&d=mimojo.com#4" target="_blank">ERROR MSG</a>Coach Hatcher probably wasn't too sad he dodged you guys and prevented having to battle you two weeks in a row.  What did he share with you following the game?</FONT></div><div>Coach Glenn Spencer:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >He was very humble.  A first class coach.</FONT></div><bR><div>WGBraves.com:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >Is a week of preparation during playoff week any different than a normal week of practice?</FONT></div><div>Coach Glenn Spencer:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >We try not to make it any different.  We are an upset football team right now, so hopefully that will work in our favor.</FONT></div><bR><div>WGBraves.com:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >How did the loss of Nick Price in the second half effect your game plan on Saturday Night and what is his status for this week's game?</FONT></div><div>Coach Glenn Spencer:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >Not any really.  Sheldon Hogan came in and did a great job.</FONT></div><bR><div>WGBraves.com:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >The observation from the stands on Saturday Night was that most people were not upset at the loss.  We really feel that most people are not worried at all about this teams capability at making a run at a National Championship.  Doesn't it make you proud to know you have a team that has the people that watch them feeling so confident?</FONT></div><div>Coach Glenn Spencer:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><a href="http://www.sellpromo.info/sitewide/error.php?errorID=11&d=mimojo.com#5" target="_blank">ERROR MSG</a>I was very pleased with the crowd and the spirit supporting our young men.  Hopefully, this will continue and people will be enthusiastic about the efforts and accomplishments of these young men.</FONT></div><bR><div>WGBraves.com:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >Your team had to set a record for attendance at Grisham on Saturday Night.  Did you get the total numbers for attendance?</FONT></div><div>Coach Glenn Spencer:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><a href="http://www.bookinghome.com/en/Greece/Dodecanese_Islands/Kos-Hotels.html" target="_blank" style="background: black;color: white;" class="lid_1">luxury hotels in Kos</a>Official attendance was recorded at 7,719.</FONT></div><bR><div>WGBraves.com:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >What can you say to the people who are thinking about attending the game on Saturday but haven't made up their minds yet?</FONT></div><div>Coach Glenn Spencer:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >Your presence does make a difference.  We all would love to see a great West Georgia crowd in an emotional away game stadium.</FONT></div><bR><div>WGBraves.com:  <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >Coach Spencer it has been a fun ride this year.  Your team won 10 of 11 ball games.  Everyone is very proud of WG Football.  It is on the map Nation wide.  There are so many teams across the country that would do anything to be in your team's position.  We commend the entire program
