I started polo after Mickey and Hugh Lenard broughtback some ponies from the Argentine and helped revive the AllIreland Polo Club (founded 1873) in Phoenix Park Dublin. One dayduring a check while out fox hunting Mickey told me I had joinedthe AIPC and only one pony would be necessary at a cost of 7($10)) a week - summer only. After a week at Whitfield Court -Hugh Dawnay's international polo school - I started on a greatvoyage that took me playing in seven countries and I would liketo say hi ! to old friends in the polo world especially those whoplayed on the Cascais Polo Team .
