Out of Commission

I am in the VPL Hastings branch right now.

I didn't sleep over at my maternal grandmother's place last night. Terry went instead. I haven't gotten enough sleep these past two days because I always get awakened by my cousin at approximately 5:00 am every morning. I would usually arrive at 11:30 pm and I don't go to bed until about 1:30 am every night. As you can see, I have only been getting 3.5 hours of sleep these past few days. On top of that, I have to tutor at the library and take out the last of my wisdom teeth today so I needed to make up for the lost hours of sleep.

Anyway, he usually wakes up at around that time and because my grandmother needs to tend to him, she wakes up at the same time that he wakes up. Also, I needed to regain the energy I lost due to my lack of sleep. I slept very well last night, but I am still a tad tired. I believe my body still needs a few more hours of slumber before I regain the energy I lost. My sister and I might alternate because I don't think I can endure a week with only 3.5 hours of sleep each night. Since I will be getting my wisdom tooth taken out today, I will spend the day resting at home tomorrow. However, I will sleep over at my grandmother's house again on Sunday and for most of the following week because my grandfather won't be going home for another week. As for now, I am temporarily out of commission.

I'm glad that you got some sleep yesterday, Cat! A good night's rest is helpful before wisdom tooth extraction. I hope that it goes well, and that you heal quickly. Enjoy your well-deserved rest! =)

I haven't been reading any blogs for a long time, or typing in any.

I'm glad you got more sleep. I know what it feels like to go a few days with hardly any sleep.

Heh, one of my friends likes to call my method "binge-sleeping". If I have a week where I'm hardly getting any sleep because of various deadlines and whatnot, I binge on the weekend. My record I think is 15 straight hours of sleep.

Mike: Thanks! My tooth is healing very nicely and the pain went away last night. =)

Liz: Thanks. I've been getting lots of sleep lately.

PakG1: I think my record is close to yours. I remember sleeping for 10+ hours one time when I was studying for finals during the Winter term. =)
