It's Time to Volunteer forThe 1998 White Mountain Jazz &Blues Festival | The White Mountains Festivals isa non- profit organization dedicated to producing the best jazz and bluesmusic festival possible. Close to one hundred volunteers are neededto make the festival happen every year. Volunteers run the festival, thestages and all the facilities. Volunteers are need for various activities: - Set up -We have work days andset up days on Saturday August 15th, as well as, WednesdayAugust 19 through Friday August 21. Volunteers set up fencing, staging,tables and chairs, and perform other duties needed to prepare thefestival site for opening.
- During the festival -Beginningearly in the morning, volunteers help with all activities including sellingtickets, ushering, sponsor and performer hospitality, trash, visitor surveys,serving food and beverage and security.
- Take down and clean up - Sundayand Monday August 22 & 23: Volunteers do whatever is necessary to returnthe site at Homestead Fields to normal.
