Bournemouth hotel roomsTo complete our programme in grain treatment machinery we havedeveloped and designed our Model T 38 Grain Cleaner, deawner,sand sieve and aspirating system, with 20 t/h capacity. The feedauger pushes the grain into a cylindric sieve where it is treatedby deawner knives. Around the sieve cylinder a vacuum is builtup. The vacuum conteracts the blocking-up of the holes in thesieve. The fan which provides this vacuum is also used forsucking coarse impurities away that have not been removed throughthe sieve and this rubbish is removed by the aspirating system.
The auger and deawner are driven by a 4 h.p. motor and the fan bya 1 h.p. motor.
The Model T 38 is supplied with 3 mm holes in the sieve asstandard.
